Our initial reception was outstanding, truly first-class service from the very beginning. From that moment on, everything related to our stay was simply impeccable: customer care, attention to detail, and responsiveness to our needs were all excellent. We felt genuinely well looked after throughout our time at the hotel, and every request was handled with professionalism and warmth. We would definitely return, especially if Andrea and Katyuska continue to be part of the team. They are exceptional professionals: highly personable, dedicated, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure guests feel comfortable and welcome. A truly excellent experience. Her approach during check-in was not only efficient and professional, but genuinely warm, confident, and reassuring — the kind of service that immediately makes you feel valued and looked after. Nikki has a rare ability to balance friendliness with absolute professionalism. She anticipated needs before they were even mentioned, communicated clearly and calmly, and handled everything with a level of composure and competence that reflects real expertise in her role. Nothing felt rushed, nothing felt transactional — it was clear she genuinely cares about the guest experience. What really stood out was her attention to detail and her attitude. She represents the business impeccably and is exactly the kind of person who leaves a lasting positive impression. Nikki didn’t just check me in — she set the tone for the entire stay, and she did it flawlessly. An absolute credit to the team and a shining example of frontline excellence. Nikki deserves recognition for the consistently high standard she delivers.

At breakfast, the welcome was warm and professional from all staff, particularly Ben, who went out of his way to offer exceptional attentiveness and service. Food quality was reasonable but a little cold. Fresh Orange Juice was a nice touch and generally the selection for breakfast was very good.

We have had a fabulous stay in this hotel it was made really special with all the extra little touches that the staff put time and energy into. They certainly helped us to enjoy our 40th wedding anniversary. The room was decorated for us it was a lovely surprise. Service was absolutely great very helpful friendly staff. Food was very good, and a shout out to Sahar, Josiah, and Ben who looked after us in the bar. Lovely people. Thankyou to all the staff for making our stay a memorable one. We will look forward to staying with you again soon.

Lovely hotel, everyone was very friendly, kind and welcoming. We've been here before and I'm sure we'll come back again. We had a room for 3 people - very spacious. We asked for a quieter room and it definitely was. Great breakfast - thanks so much Robert, Divine and Neil. You are all fab!

Very welcoming reception! Nice chat and very thoroughly explained all the things! I arrived early before the ci time but was offer room anyways! Location at Piccadilly gardens is central and everything on site. No need to tell more about it Room had a nice space to it and was clean and modern. Bed and pillows were okay and enough amenities. Air condition had it's own mind. Didn't cool down properly and made a horrible knocking and banging sound when on. Thanks for the colder night I did not need to use it but summer would be different thing. Also some weird random knocking sound kept going on whole throughout the night. I have no idea where it came Breakfast staff was very friendly and helpful! And the breakfast itself also really enjoyed it! Despite anything I would stay here again!

We’re staying in a suite at the Mercure Manchester and it’s been amazing from the moment we arrived. The suite is spacious, spotless and so comfortable – you can tell real care goes into the details. Walking in to find towel swans shaped into a heart, rose petals, chocolates and a bottle of fizz ready for us was such a beautiful surprise. It instantly made the stay feel special. A huge thank you to Alexandra in housekeeping – absolutely meticulous. The room was perfect. Reception were also so lovely, welcoming and accommodating throughout. The location is second to none and great views from the top floor. We feel relaxed, looked after and a little bit spoiled. We’ll definitely be back
